My friend Dave is a really talented robotics guy and he and his snake robot got featured on Gizmodo!

The snake robot is admittedly a little creepy, but it is being built to assist with search and rescue in disaster situations. So in a horrible situation like what happened in Haiti these robots can crawl and maneuver through building wreckage and find survivors faster than human rescue workers can.

Science, and Dave, are awesome.
